JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Department of Statistics at The Pennsylvania State University invite applications for part-time online instructional faculty positions to teach the Department’s University Park courses throughout Fall 2026 semesters.
The responsibilities include:

providing program instruction for our in person courses and administering them through our learning management system (Canvas)
-
incorporating innovative teaching methodologies
-
engaging in classes
-
designing course material and assessments
-
providing personalized and substantive feedback
A conferred Ph.D. in Statistics or a related field is preferred. Applicants with a masters degree and related experience will be considered. Previous experience is preferred. These will be part-time positions, applications will be received on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as the need arise.
