A welcoming family in Austin, TX 78732 is seeking a reliable, self-starter nanny/housekeeper to provide morning care and household support for their 4-year-old and 2-year-old children. This family maintains a pet-free and smoke-free home environment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM
• 15 hours per week

• Pet-free home (ideal for individuals with pet allergies)

• Values a high degree of caregiver autonomy, trust, and strong organizational skills
• Perks provided include pantry/beverage access, a paid day off for your birthday, and mileage reimbursement if using your vehicle on the job

Responsibilities:

• Manage the morning routine for two young children, including dressing and morning preparation
• Prepare and serve breakfast for the children
• Transport children to school via double stroller (a 15-minute walk each way in hilly terrain) **The family is open to providing 2 car seats if the caregiver rather drive to school than walk.
• Manage household tasks following morning drop-off, including laundry, ironing, and light housekeeping

Requirements:

• Proven childcare experience with toddlers and preschoolers
• Professional housekeeping or Family Assistant experience (specifically with laundry, ironing, and light cleaning)
• Physical ability to push a double stroller on hilly terrain in warm weather or comfort driving the children with car seats provided by family
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Second language of German a bonus, but not required
• Exceptional organizational skills

Compensation:

• $27–$29 per hour
• Standard mileage reimbursement for any approved job-related driving
