Part Time Nanny - NoMad, NY

Part Time live-out Nanny required for a NoMad family with an infant (b. Mar 2026), starting Fall 2026. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including providing nurturing care and interacting with their daughter in an engaging, loving and age-appropriate way. To be successful, you will need to be experienced with infant/toddler care and partnering with parents who value good communication. Calm, proactive and detail oriented candidates will be a great match for this family! The ideal candidate is able to complete light, child related housekeeping duties (laundry, meal preparation, etc), and maintain all common areas in a clean and tidy state (the family prioritizes an organized home). Candidates who will show initiative with intentional activity planning, socialization (play dates, classes, kid friendly activities, etc) and love exploring what the city has to offer will be well suited to this role!

Location: NoMad, NY

Start date: Fall 2026

Days/times: Guaranteed 20-25 hours a week, Monday through Friday with general hours expected to land between 1pm-7pm. The schedule may evolve based on the family's needs/schedule over time. Candidates who have mid week morning or weekend commitments are encouraged to apply and the family is open to interviewing all strong candidates! No set weekends, travel or overnights expected however flexibility as needed for additional hours (with advance notice) is desired.

Children: One infant daughter (born Mar 2026)

Conditions: $30 - $35 per hour* plus unlimited monthly OMNY card, public holidays, sick/personal and vacation days.

For further consideration, applicants must possess the following:

• Authorization to work in the US
• An ideal candidate has at least 5 years experience working with families with young children
• A well-suited demeanor + recent experience working with infants and eventual toddlers
• Comfortable partnering with Mom at home (flexible work schedule and works from home)
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and high emotional intelligence
• Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
• Comfortable with pets - family has a friendly Husky. No pet related duties expected (family has a dog walker)
