Part-Time Mother's Helper – Pflugerville, TX
A warm and welcoming family in Pflugerville, TX is seeking an experienced, patient, and nurturing Part-Time Mother's Helper to assist a stay-at-home mom with her growing family. The family has a 3-year-old, a 1-year-old, and is expecting their third baby.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working alongside a parent and have experience supporting toddlers with behavioral challenges or additional behavioral needs. RBT experience or a similar behavioral/child development background is strongly preferred.** This role is perfect for someone who is proactive, calm, patient, and enjoys providing an extra set of hands in a busy household.
Position Details
* Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
* Hours: 25 hours/week
* Pay: $32/hour
* Start Date: ASAP
* Children: Ages 3 and 1, with a newborn expected
Responsibilities
* Assist mom with the daily care of the children
* Provide patient and consistent support with toddler behaviors and emotional regulation
* Engage the children in age-appropriate, educational, and creative activities
* Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children
* Assist with diaper changes, potty training, naps, and daily routines
* Keep children's play areas, bedrooms, and belongings tidy and organized
* Assist with children's laundry and other child-related household tasks
* Provide newborn care and support after the baby arrives
* Work alongside mom to maintain consistency with routines, expectations, and behavioral strategies
* Maintain a safe, positive, structured, and nurturing environment
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience
* Experience with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
* Experience caring for toddlers with behavioral challenges or additional behavioral needs
* RBT experience strongly preferred
* Comfortable working alongside a stay-at-home parent
* Calm, patient, dependable, organized, and proactive
* CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain before employment
* Current Tdap vaccination required
* Reliable transportation and excellent references
