Part- Time Maintenance Technician for Schools (NE)(2026-2027)-School of the Incarnation, Gambrills MD

School of the Incarnation is seeking a dependable individual to join our facilities team in a part-time capacity. This position assists with the daily maintenance, upkeep, and cleanliness of the school campus and performs routine custodial and minor maintenance duties. Reporting to the Campus Operations Manager and the Principal/Assistant Principal, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with other facilities staff to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for students, faculty, and visitors.

Part-Time Schedule: Monday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
 

Essential Functions

• Performs routine maintenance and custodial duties throughout the school campus.
• Responds to requests from administration, faculty, and staff for custodial and facility services as needed.
• Performs minor repairs and maintenance, including unclogging sinks and drains, changing light bulbs and filters, and making minor repairs to furniture and equipment.
• Completes daily facility inspections and reports maintenance or safety concerns to the Campus Operations Manager or administration.
• Assists with the setup and breakdown of special events and activities as requested.
• Maintains and organizes janitorial and facility supplies.
• Assists with cleaning the cafeteria between lunch periods.
• Helps maintain a clean, safe, and orderly campus environment.
• Performs other duties of a similar scope and complexity as assigned.

Position Qualifications

• Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the school.
• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in facilities, custodial, maintenance, or building services is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, stand, and perform other physical duties associated with the position.
• Ability to work independently and maintain positive working relationships with students, faculty, and staff.
   

  Pay Rate:  $17.00, Hourly
