Denny’s is seeking Part-Time Line Cooks to join the team at our Minot location. Our Line Cooks are the
backbone of the restaurant, creating an enjoyable experience for each guest,

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food, working at a
  specific station to prepare dishes according to recipes and under the direction
  of the chef
• Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients
• Set up and stock your station with the
  necessary ingredients and supplies
• Cook food using various methods like
  grilling, frying, sautéing, baking, etc., according to recipes and standards
• Ensure dishes are cooked to the correct
  temperature and doneness
• Plate dishes for presentation
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Ensure proper food handling and storage
  practices
• Follow health and safety regulations
• Assist with inventory management
• Follow instructions and guidance from the
  chef or sous chef
• Work efficiently and effectively in a demanding
  environment
• Other tasks as required by the management

Qualified Candidates Must Have:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year as a line cook or
  similar role preferred
• Proficiency with knives & knife
  technique
• Some exposure to the hospitality
  industry preferred
• Proficiency in various cooking
  techniques
• Knowledge of food preparation and
  cooking methods
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork
  skills
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to be on your feet for extended
  periods
• Must have or be able to obtain North
  Dakota Food Handler’s card.  We will
  subsidize the cost of your card/card renewal
• Must be able to reliably commute to
  work
