Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

3 Days Per Week | Small Nonprofit Medical Clinic

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our small, mission-driven nonprofit medical clinic three days per week.

Our Nurse Practitioner serves as the primary medical provider, and the LPN will work closely with the NP and administrative team to provide quality patient care while helping ensure the clinic operates efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who enjoys direct patient care, clinical coordination, and being an integral part of a close-knit team.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a dependable, organized, and experienced LPN who has:

• A current Pennsylvania LPN license in good standing.
• Previous primary care, outpatient, or medical clinic experience.
• Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently while recognizing when patient concerns should be brought to the Nurse Practitioner.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
• A team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist with various clinical and office needs. ● A compassionate, professional, and patient-centered approach.

Practice management, office management, clinical coordination, or similar experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Room patients and obtain vital signs and relevant health information. ● Administer medications, injections, and treatments as ordered.
• Assist with laboratory testing, specimen collection, referrals, and follow-up. ● Monitor and communicate patient concerns, symptoms, and changes in condition to the Nurse Practitioner.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record. ● Assist with patient scheduling, flow, and coordination of care.
• Support the Nurse Practitioner with day-to-day clinical needs.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient clinical environment. ● Assist with routine office and administrative functions as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the Nurse Practitioner and administrative team to identify and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
