Part-Time Lacrosse Coach- Episcopal High School

Job DetailsJob Location: Bellaire, TX 77401Episcopal High School is seeking an Assistant Lacrosse Coach. The Assistant Coach will report to the Head Coach and provide coaching expertise, leadership, support and guidance of all aspects of our program, resulting in a positive and beneficial experience for athletes.

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership, organization, and supervision for all practices and games in conjunction with head coach.
Working directly with players to improve skills, techniques, and game strategy, often focusing on specific positions or areas of need. 
Analyzing opposing teams' strengths and weaknesses to develop game plans. 
Assisting the head coach in designing and running practice sessions, including drills and game simulations. 
Tracking player statistics, analyzing performance data, and presenting insights to the head coach. 
Assisting the head coach with logistical aspects like scheduling games and managing equipment.
Relaying information between the head coach and players, providing feedback on performance, and addressing concerns.
Commitment to athlete safety, welfare, physical, and mental health.
Complete the Safeguarding God’s Children training, both in person and online.
Maintain relationships with parents, alumni, friends of the program, and others toward the positive image and promotion of the program and School.
Attend and participate in athletic department meetings.

QualificationsQualifications:

Excellence with interpersonal communications (written and oral) skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment is necessary. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and mentoring skills and a strong desire to learn. Must maintain a high level of professionalism and be comfortable working in a flexible, team environment with a positive attitude.
