About Our Family
We're a busy, warm, and laid-back family of four with two parents balancing demanding careers while raising energetic twin boys who are almost two years old. One parent works from home and frequently starts the day with early-morning international calls, while the other runs a company with an office nearby. Our boys are curious, active, and full of personality, and this August they'll be starting an exciting new chapter at a Montessori program with a more structured schedule than their current daycare.
While we're fortunate that our toddlers aren't typically early risers, mornings can still feel rushed as we juggle work responsibilities, school preparation, and the many moving pieces of family life. With the transition to a strict morning start time, we're looking for consistent, professional support to help create calmer, more organized mornings and establish household systems that make everyday life easier.
We value relationships that are warm, collaborative, and professional. We're looking for someone who can step into our home with confidence, anticipate needs, and become a trusted partner in helping our family navigate this next stage and beyond with greater ease and consistency.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You are a confident household professional who doesn't need to be told what to do next. You notice what's running low before it runs out, spot what needs attention before it becomes a problem, and take quiet pride in a home that runs well. You're experienced with and calm around toddlers, comfortable managing an anaphylactic allergy with care and good judgment, and you genuinely enjoy spending time with little ones. You're proactive, solutions-oriented, and the kind of person who creates systems that a family can actually use long-term.
You bring a steady, capable presence to the home and naturally help set a positive tone for the day. You are organized without being rigid, warm and familiar while maintaining professionalism, and confident enough to take ownership of your responsibilities while keeping the family informed. You anticipate needs, think a few steps ahead, and thrive in a role where your initiative and follow-through make a meaningful difference. You know how to engage young children with patience and enthusiasm while also keeping the household moving forward with consistency and care.
Key Responsibilities
Family Support

- Drop twins off at school daily
- Provide developmentally appropriate supervision each morning and backup childcare on school closure and early release days
- Prepare backpacks, clothing, school lunches, and snacks for toddler twins daily
- Accompany family on travel to assist with childcare approximately 1-2 times per year (pending candidate availability)
- Park outings and activity support as needed
Household Organization & Maintenance
- Build and maintain household organization systems the family can rely on and grow into
- Reset and tidy spaces daily: picking up, dishes, cleaning surfaces, vacuuming high-traffic areas, taking out trash, making beds
- Coordinate donation drop-offs as needed
- Support with cleaning and shopping for events, holidays, and guest prep on occasion
- Proactively handle small maintenance tasks (e.g. changing batteries, light bulbs, watering plants)
Deep Cleaning & Special Projects
- Create and maintain a maintenance cleaning schedule for household appliances (oven, washer/dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher), either executing directly or coordinating with cleaning staff
- Descale the coffee maker on a regular schedule
- Stain treat furniture as needed
Meal Support

- Prepare ingredients for approximately 4 family meals per week so the primary cook can get dinner on the table quickly (or execute full meals on occasion)
- Prep daily school lunches and snacks for both twins
- Strictly adhere to protocols for family dietary restrictions: egg allergy for twins and gluten intolerance for one parent
- Grocery shop for family meals and snacks
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization

- Communicate with pest and lawn care vendors as needed
- Oversee house cleaners and coordinate deep cleaning tasks or delegation of special projects as needed
- Research and coordinate repair vendors and quotes as needed (e.g., fixing broken items, furniture deep cleaning)
