Retail Security Officer – Lake Grove, NY

$18.03/hr. | Part-Time | Evening| Weekends Required

We’re hiring Retail Security Officers to join our team at a busy shopping center in Lake Grove, NY. This is a high-visibility, customer-service-focused role where your presence helps deter incidents and promote safety.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who are dependable, alert, and comfortable walking and standing for long periods.

Position Highlights:

Pay: $18.03 per hour

Shifts: Evening (e.g., 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM & 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

Schedule: Part-Time  (Sunday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM) (Friday & Saturday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

Weekends required

What You’ll Do:

Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the retail property

Deter theft, monitor for suspicious activity, and respond to incidents

Interact with store personnel and customers in a professional manner

Complete daily activity logs and incident reports as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Prior security or customer service experience preferred (but not required)

Must be able to walk and stand for the duration of each shift

Dependable, punctual, and professional appearance

Clear communication skills and attention to detail

Must have reliable transportation to Lake Grove, NY

Note: This is an active patrol role. Candidates should be comfortable being on their feet and walking throughout the shopping center for the full shift.
