Summary
The desk clerk is responsible for monitoring the building entrance, conducting security rounds, and documenting observations in a logbook. Additionally, the role involves answering phones and providing emergency first aid or CPR assistance when necessary.
Job Description
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor building entrance, make rounds to insure security of premises and answer phones. Document observations in logbook. Respond to emergencies. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Related duties as assigned.
HOURS:
Part-time; 15 hours per week
Wednesday and Thursday 4pm-12:30am
QUALIFICATIONS:
HS diploma/GED required. Good reading, writing and verbal skills. Basic computer literacy required. CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.
*Vaccination preferred but not required

BRC serves nearly 13,000 individuals each year, operating more than 30 programs throughout the greater metropolitan area. The organization’s robust continuum of housing and services includes over 3,700 units of transitional and permanent housing; outreach and case management programs; and substance use and medical services. Together, these programs offer a caring and effective path from homelessness to home, providing comprehensive services that guide everyone on their unique journey.
