Responsibilities

• Sincerely greets and welcomes all guests and maintains a professional presence when interacting with guests.
• Assures timely delivery of all food and beverages; assists in some food preparation.
• Operates a point of sale, rings in proper amount into register and gives guest correct change.
• Maintains a clean, neat, organized site as well as a comfortable environment for each guest.
• Performs all side work duties as described for assigned shift.
• Stock and maintain the cleanliness of area, empty garbage wipe tables and sweep.
• Assists in all aspects of this operation when necessary.
• Embracing the role of a barista means diving into the world of Starbucks' signature drinks! It’s an exciting journey where you'll get to master the art of crafting these beloved beverages. From the creamy lattes to the refreshing cold brews, each drink tells a story, and you'll be the one bringing them to life!
• Follows all standard safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Count out cash drawer at end of shift.
• Adheres to attendance guidelines and follows all regulatory, departmental and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be the age of 18
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and providing change.
• Having a positive attitude is important! It's great to be able to smile, make eye contact, and easily connect with people when communicating.
• Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales by recommending popular or promotional items.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Neat, clean appearance.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to meet health regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate order accuracy and timely delivery of food to customers.
• Must be multi-task oriented and work well under pressure.
• Ability to be flexible with scheduling to include nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Requires knowledge of operating point of sale.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Position requires 90% standing, 10% walking.
• Able to work in a stressful, high-volume restaurant.
• Mobility to include bending, reaching, prolonged standing and walking, accessing, and lifting items from floor level to six feet high
• Must present a neat and professional appearance.
• Requires some bending, pushing, twisting, kneeling, climbing, stooping and reaching overhead.
• Must be able to respond to touch, speech, smell, aural and visual cues.
• Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke.
• Work requires use of a computer and/or cash register
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment involving constant internal and external customer contact.
• Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for long periods of time.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $16.00 per hour plus Tips
• Employment Type – Part Time

Shift Details:

• Swing Shift: 3:00 pm -11:30 pm
• Late Swing Shift: 7:00 pm- 3:30 am
