Summary
The caregiver will provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene assistance, while supporting client mobility and safe transfers. They are also responsible for providing companionship and ensuring that care plans are followed to maintain client safety.
Job Description
Senior Helpers is hiring a strong and dependable caregiver to support seniors with personal care and daily needs. This role is ideal for caregivers who are comfortable with hands-on care and want to make a real difference.
Morning availability throughout the week is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, hygiene)
- Support mobility and safe transfers
- Companionship and support
- Meal preparation/cooking
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Follow care plans and ensure client safety
- Provide respectful and compassionate support
Requirements:
- Active HCA registration ready is a big plus (if you don't have it yet, we will help you get it!)
- Current TB test
- Experience with personal care and transfers
- Livescan up to date
- Physically able to assist clients
- Reliable, patient, and professional
