JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State New Kensington is seeking applicants for a part-time opening of Customer Service Representative. The selected candidate will provide operational support for University functions.
Job Duties
- Greet guest, direct them through the facility.
- Serve as first point of contact for internal and external customers.
- Provide guidance and responses to customer inquiries; redirect or escalate when necessary.
- Respond to complaints or issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain knowledge of University policies, procedures, and practices to answer routine inquires or solve routine problems.
- Report equipment malfunctions and repair needs as necessary.
- Communicate with various departments/units to accommodate changing business needs.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Ability to work evenings.
- Primary point of contact for emergency notifications, ensuring timely communication with appropriate personnel.
Schedule:
- 2-3 evenings per week.
- Monday through Thursday 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Weekends and University holidays off.
Compensation: The starting rate for this opening is $15.00/hour.
