Summary
The Bistro Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. They must provide friendly service to hotel guests, process payments via the POS system, and assist with various tasks to ensure a positive guest experience.
Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly and efficient service to hotel guests
- Prepare and serve breakfast items during our busier morning shifts
- Prepare, cook, and serve lighter food offerings during evening shifts
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly
- Take guest orders, operate the POS system, and handle payments
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Stock supplies and keep the Bistro organized and guest-ready
- Multitask and assist wherever needed to provide an excellent guest experience
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a bartender, cook, Bistro associate, or in food and beverage is a plus
- Basic cooking and food preparation skills preferred
- Bartending knowledge or experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, reliable, and professional with a strong focus on guest service
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of a food and beverage position
