Part-time Automotive Technician

Growing national auto auction company!  Auto Tech/Mechanic opening!

Rewards for Part-time Automotive Technician

• $17.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience
• NOT FLAT RATE

Work Hours for Part-time Automotive Technician/Mechanic

• Tuesday 11AM - 5PM
• Wednesday - Friday 9AM - 5PM

Responsibilities for Part-time Automotive Technician/Mechanic

• Change batteries.
• Test drive cars.
• Change oil.
• Connect vehicles to OBD-II diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot faults. 
• Safely pull cars on and off racks.

Requirements

 Requirements for Part-time Automotive Technician/Mechanic

• Some basic auto tech/mechanic experience and/or auto tech school is preferred. 
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record. 
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and repair techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and staff.
• Able to prioritize tasks and handle urgent repairs.
• Works independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, accountable, and professional.
• Tools not required but if you have some that is a plus. 

Physical Requirements for Part-time Automotive Technician/Mechanic:

• Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor operational environments.
• Ability to use tools and mechanical equipment safely.
