Field Enumerator – Part-Time

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is seeking dependable individuals to collect agricultural information from farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses.

No prior experience required. Paid training provided.

What You'll Do

• Conduct interviews with agricultural producers by phone and in person.

• Collect accurate information about crops, livestock, and farming operations.

• Conduct crop counts and observe crop conditions in designated corn and soybean fields.

• Enter information accurately using a company-provided electronic device.

• Track work hours, mileage, and completed assignments.

• Maintain confidentiality and follow NASDA data-security policies.

• Communicate professionally with producers and community members.

What We're Looking For

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and self-directed

• Strong communication and basic computer/math skills

• Able to work independently and meet deadlines

• Comfortable working with a variety of people

• Able to maintain strict confidentiality

• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and walk up to 100 yards on uneven terrain

Agriculture or sales experience is helpful but not required.

Schedule & Requirements

Flexible part-time hours, with some evenings and weekends as needed. Hours may vary due to weather and seasonal farm activities.

Candidates must have:

• A private workspace with a functional telephone

• A reliable personal vehicle

• Ability to travel up to 250 miles quarterly for training, as needed

• Ability to use computers and electronic devices
