Part-time Adjunct Teaching Positions - Native American Studies Program

The Program for Native American Studies (https://nas.wvu.edu) at West Virginia University invites applications for Part-time Adjunct Teaching Positions. Areas of need include but may not be limited to: Contemporary Native American Issues; Indigenous Culture and History; and Modern Native Nations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in-person and/or online courses in the Program for Native American Studies at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be considered as openings arise. Salary is established on a per-course basis.

These positions require a master’s or doctoral degree in Native American Studies, Indigenous Studies, American Studies, or a closely related discipline, along with evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level. Generally, individuals with a doctoral degree are eligible to teach graduate or undergraduate courses; individuals with a master’s degree are eligible to teach undergraduate courses.
