TDH Transport LLC is seeking an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to handle the company’s accounting and tax-related responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file business tax returns and required tax documents.
- Prepare financial statements and tax documents for year-end filing.
- Maintain and balance the company’s books.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare customer invoices and track outstanding payments.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records.
- Track expenses, receipts, and company purchases.
- Review financial records for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Work with the CPA or tax authorities when necessary.
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting records.
Qualifications:
- Previous accounting experience required.
- Experience preparing and filing business taxes.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial statements.
- Experience balancing books and reconciling accounts.
- QuickBooks experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Transportation or small-business accounting experience is a plus.
