St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish is seeking a welcoming, organized, and dependable individual to serve as
Parish Administrative Support – Receptionist.
This position serves as the first point of contact for parishioners and visitors and provides administrative support to the Pastor and parish staff.
The Parish Administrative Support – Receptionist is responsible for providing professional customer service while supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of the parish office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Welcome and assist guests with professionalism and courtesy.
· Answer incoming phone calls, respond to emails, and assist with general parish inquiries.
· Maintain the parish calendar and coordinate room reservations.
· Process baptismal certificates and maintain sacramental records.
· Assist with parish registration and support the welcoming of new parishioners.
· Coordinate Mass intentions and provide administrative support for liturgical needs.
· Receive calls for assistance through the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
· Provide administrative and clerical support to the Pastor and parish staff.
· Perform any duties as requested by the pastor.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Experience in an administrative, receptionist, office support, or customer service role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a busy office environment.
- Proficiency with office technology, including Google, Word, and Excel.
- Practicing Catholic
- Part Time – Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 3:00p (or 3:30p).
