Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Properly mix and apply specialty coatings using brush, roller, and spray methods according to customer specifications.
Maintain quality through use of WFT gauge.
Perform final touch-ups prior to shipment as needed.
Clean and maintain paint equipment such as air lines, paint pots, and paint guns.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment complying with company and governmental rules and regulations.
Requirements
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of airless/conventional spraying systems.
Thorough knowledge of industrial epoxy or other multi-part coatings.
Basic knowledge of, and ability to use gauges and determine MIL readings.
Basic knowledge of, and ability to communicate and understand work instructions.
Ability to comprehend and follow written or verbal instructions.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations.
2 or more years’ experience coating in an industrial production environment.
