Outside Service Attendant

Austin Country Club, located in Austin, MN, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Outside Service Attendant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
 
Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)
 
Compensation:
$11.41 - $12.00 per hour plus tips
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed
• Collects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes in the POS system as trained
• Issues receipts for guest purchases
• Takes messages for staff or guests
• Assists in packing and unpacking inventory and golf operations supplies
• Assists in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the day
• Greet members and guests upon arrival and assist with golf bags
• Clean, stage, and store golf carts
• Set up and maintain the driving range and practice facilities
• Ensure bag drop, cart barn, and practice areas remain clean and organized
• Assist with club storage and bag room organization
• Provide general support to the Golf Professional Staff
• Deliver a high level of customer service at all times
• Follow all club safety and operational procedures

Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years of age
• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
• Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Golf knowledge preferred but not required
• Competitive hourly wage
• Golf privileges (based on club policy)
• Uniforms provided
