Pearl at Kalauao located in Aiea, HI, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Outside Guest Services! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. Compensation: $17.50 per hour
 
Position Summary:
The Outside Guest Services Staff (OGS) consists of bag room (where applicable) range, bag drop, 1^st tee player assistants, starters and cart attendants. These individuals provide golf bag, golf cart, driving range, staging and on-course assistance to guests of the property.
 
 Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Must be extremely organized, efficient and detail-oriented
• Must be highly motivated, goal driven and self-starter
• Must have a good work ethic
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with guests and fellow team members
• Must be dependable
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
• Must have valid driver’s license (if driving golf carts or driving range equipment)

 Responsibilities:

• Provide a memorable guest experience
• Must be team oriented
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Brings golf carts from cart barn to cart staging area outside golf shop
• Load bags onto cart(s)
• Load rental clubs onto cart(s) as needed
• Greets guests at designated bag drop area and loads bags on to carts
• Gives directions to guests for golf shop, first tee, driving range, etc.
• Transports range balls to driving range and fills appropriate containers
• Operates range picker on range to retrieve balls
• Wash all range balls daily
• Collects and Returns carts to cart barn and washes carts accordingly to standard operating procedures, parks carts in designated spaces and connects charger cables (where applicable) in a safe manner to avoid damage. See Standard Operating Procedures
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

 Working Conditions:

• While performing the required duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with arms and hands.
• The employee often is required to walk, stand, talk or hear, handle, feel or operate objects.
• The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs occasionally.
• The employee will occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• Moderate exposure to heat, working outdoors, mechanical hazards and electrical hazards.  Exposure to pollens and dust
• Noise level is moderately quiet
• Work extended hours during golf and holiday season
• Work weekends and holidays
