Outreach Associate

Fast-paced, independent boutique lobbying and public affairs firm in Washington, DC seeks an outreach associate with 1-3 years’ relevant experience to support growing national grassroot campaigns.  The candidate will assist with direct engagement of potential advocates for priority issues.  Candidate must possess excellent communication (written and oral) abilities, be comfortable and confident on the phone, function well on a team, capably multi-task and must be client-oriented. Campaign, state, local or federal government experience a plus, must have demonstrable knowledge of campaigns, Congressional and regulatory processes and major policy initiatives in Congress or state government and the Executive Branch.  Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Draft Letters
• Maintain and organize database
• Sustain engagement with existing partners and cultivate new contacts
