Responsibilities

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is a 140-bed hospital offering inpatient services for adolescents, adults, military, veterans and first responders. Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System has a spacious cafeteria, gymnasium, art/activity room, group rooms, classrooms and other areas to create a pleasant atmosphere for patients and their families. Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System’s quality services are provided by psychiatrists, licensed therapists, certified alcohol and drug counselors, activity therapists and teachers. Also, care is given by registered nurses 24 hours a day. Since 1986, Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System has been a proven psychiatric care provider in mental health and substance use.

The  outpatient therapist is a key member of the Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System outpatient team. The Clinician/Therapist/Counselor is responsible for performing a variety of direct clinical duties in the  outpatient setting.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

The outpatient therapist is responsible for:

• Group, individual and family treatment modalities
• Excellent judgment and clinical skills are essential for this position.
• Accurately presents thorough clinical information in written and verbal formats.

Qualifications

Masters or Doctoral degree in human relations or clinical field such as social work, psychology, or marriage and family counseling. An active license (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, CSW or LPCA) in the state of KY. Two years working in a human service organization with inpatient or outpatient psychiatric or chemical dependency populations preferred.
