OT/ICS Network Security Architect

The client operates industrial/environmental facilities with both traditional IT and OT/industrial environments. As part of the acquisition/integration, the Security team needs support analyzing OT site scan/discovery data and translating it into network/security architecture diagrams covering devices, zones, segmentation and data flows.
For profile screening, we can primarily look for OT/ICS Network Security experience, particularly industrial network architecture, Purdue/ISA-95, OT segmentation, SCADA/industrial environments, IEC 62443/NIST 800-82, and network diagramming/documentation.
 
Key Responsibilities
Turn raw OT site scan data (asset inventories, traffic captures, device metadata) into detailed, client-ready network diagrams, devices, zones, segmentation, and data flows, structured against a recognized OT reference model such as Purdue/ISA-95.
Maintain a consistent diagramming standard across sites, flag data gaps or anomalies for follow-up, and iterate based on feedback from the engagement lead and client.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience with OT/ICS or industrial control system network environments, and solid grounding in how they differ from standard IT networks.
Ability to read scan/discovery data and translate it accurately into polished, presentation-ready diagrams, with strong supporting documentation for both technical and executive audiences.
Nice to Have
Prior experience producing OT network diagrams as a deliverable on a security assessment or M&A/integration engagement, familiarity with common industrial protocols and OT frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82).
