Oracle ERP Solution Architect

This is a senior-level opportunity for an Oracle ERP Solution Architect / Technical Lead to shape and lead complex enterprise solutions across global manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial operations.
The role focuses primarily on Oracle Fusion SCM, PLM, Plan-to-Make, Order-to-Cash, and Direct Procurement domains.
You will translate sophisticated business requirements into scalable, compliant, and future-ready ERP architectures.
The position combines strategic architecture with deep techno-functional expertise and hands-on technical leadership.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, developers, vendors, and enterprise architecture groups across major transformation initiatives.
The environment emphasizes integration, governance, regulatory compliance, technical excellence, and continuous ERP modernization.
This is a 100% remote opportunity suited to an experienced Oracle professional capable of leading global, cross-functional programs.

Accountabilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Oracle Fusion SCM, including Inventory Management, Order Management, Shipping and Logistics, Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Product Data Hub/PLM, Quality Management, Purchasing, and Cost Management.

• Architect and optimize Plan-to-Make processes spanning demand and supply planning, production scheduling, work order execution, costing, and inventory reconciliation.

• Design Direct Procurement solutions covering purchase orders, supplier collaboration, purchasing contracts, supplier qualification, and procurement analytics.

• Lead Order-to-Cash solution design across order management, pricing, trade compliance, fulfillment, shipping, invoicing, and revenue recognition.

• Drive PLM and product data strategies, including item lifecycle governance, engineering change management, product data management, and synchronization with integrated PLM platforms.

• Oversee integration architecture between Oracle ERP and warehouse, transportation, manufacturing, quality, supplier, and other boundary systems.

• Facilitate fit-gap assessments, CRP sessions, solution workshops, technical evaluations, RFP activities, and vendor assessments across ERP workstreams.

• Ensure solutions align with applicable GxP, SOX, ITGC, regulatory, security, and enterprise architecture requirements.

• Provide architectural oversight for Indirect Procurement and selected Record-to-Report processes, including requisition-to-pay, catalog management, supplier onboarding, general ledger, cost accounting, and financial reporting.

• Translate complex business and functional requirements into practical technical designs while challenging assumptions and clarifying requirements.

• Lead integration and extension strategies using Oracle Integration Cloud, APIs, file-based integrations, and related technologies.

• Apply technical expertise across BI Publisher, OTBI, VBCS, APEX, SOAP UI, SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripting, Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence, AI Agents Studio, and PaaS extensions.

• Establish technical standards, documentation practices, coding guidelines, and review processes while conducting design and code reviews.

• Mentor internal and external technical teams and promote consistent engineering, governance, and documentation practices.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience working with Oracle ERP solutions in complex enterprise environments.

• Deep techno-functional expertise with Oracle Fusion SCM and related domains, particularly Inventory Management, Order Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Planning, Product Data Hub/PLM, Quality Management, Purchasing, and Cost Management.

• Strong experience designing solutions across Plan-to-Make, Order-to-Cash, Direct Procurement, and supply chain processes.

• Experience with Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion ERP and large-scale modernization or transformation programs.

• Strong understanding of integration architecture involving WMS, TMS/OTM/GTM, MES, quality systems, supplier portals, and other enterprise applications.

• Hands-on technical knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud, APIs, file-based integrations, BI Publisher, OTBI, VBCS, APEX, SOAP UI, SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting.

• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management, item master governance, engineering change processes, and product data synchronization.

• Knowledge of GxP, SOX, ITGC, and regulatory requirements applicable to pharmaceutical, biotech, manufacturing, or other regulated environments.

• Ability to lead fit-gap analysis, technical assessments, RFPs, vendor evaluations, and solution design workshops.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to establish technical standards, conduct architecture and code reviews, and mentor technical teams.

• Experience with Indirect Procurement and Record-to-Report is valuable as a complementary capability.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical/business background is expected for this senior-level role.
