About the Role

The Operations & Brand Supervisor is a hands-on, hourly leadership position responsible for supporting daily venue operations while also helping bring the Velocity brand to life through social media, content creation, promotions, and local marketing.

Reporting to the General Manager, this position serves as a shift leader and works directly with hourly team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience. The Supervisor will also work closely with the General Manager and Owner to execute social media and marketing deliverables.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, interacting with guests and employees, and capturing the energy of the venue through photos, videos, and social content.

Key Responsibilities

Venue Operations & Shift Leadership

• Serve as a leader on duty and help manage daily shifts and venue operations.
• Provide direction, coaching, and support to hourly team members throughout the shift.
• Deliver excellent guest service and assist with resolving guest concerns.
• Ensure service, food and beverage quality, facility presentation, and entertainment experiences meet company standards.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and inviting venue.
• Support employee training and development.
• Assist with parties, group events, promotions, and special events.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and other shift responsibilities.
• Support ordering, receiving, inventory counts, and product organization as assigned.
• Assist with arcade game payouts, prize inventory, and merchandising standards.
• Complete assigned daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting.
• Communicate operational issues, guest feedback, maintenance needs, and other concerns to management.
• Help ensure company policies, procedures, and operating standards are followed during assigned shifts.

Prize Store, Retail & Inventory

• Oversee the day-to-day organization, stocking, merchandising, and presentation of the Next Level Prize Store and retail displays.
• Monitor inventory levels, maintain appropriate par levels, complete physical counts, and research inventory discrepancies.
• Prepare merchandise and prize orders based on inventory needs, product movement, upcoming promotions, and business trends.
• Receive and verify shipments, organize back stock, replenish merchandise, and maintain accurate pricing and product information.
• Create and refresh engaging merchandise displays, including product placement, signage, seasonal items, and promotional features.
• Monitor product performance, arcade payouts, and redemption trends while helping minimize shrink, damage, overstock, and out-of-stock merchandise.
• Identify new and trending merchandise opportunities and coach team members on Prize Store procedures, merchandising standards, and guest service.

Social Media, Content & Marketing

• Assist with the venue's day-to-day social media presence and content calendar.
• Capture high-quality photos and short-form videos featuring our attractions, food and beverages, events, promotions, team members, and guest experiences.
• Create engaging content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Identify relevant trending videos, sounds, formats, and social media opportunities that fit the Velocity brand.
• Film and edit Reels, short-form videos, stories, and other social content.
• Create or assist with basic promotional graphics and digital marketing materials.
• Capture content during busy periods, special events, holidays, sports programming, promotions, and other timely opportunities.
• Work directly with the General Manager and Owner on assigned content, promotions, campaigns, and marketing deliverables.
• Complete miscellaneous marketing projects such as signage, website updates, promotional materials, community outreach, and event support as assigned.
• Help maintain an organized library of photos and video content for future use.
• Ensure content represents the venue professionally, including appropriate lighting, presentation, employee uniforms, backgrounds, music, and overall visual quality.
• Look for creative opportunities to showcase the personality, energy, and experiences that make Velocity unique.

What We're Looking For

• Previous supervisory, shift lead, or leadership experience in entertainment, hospitality, restaurants, retail, or a similar fast-paced environment preferred.
• Comfortable leading hourly employees and providing direction during a busy shift.
• Strong guest-service and communication skills.
• Interest or experience in social media and content creation.
• Comfortable taking quality photos and videos using a smartphone.
• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Reels, Stories, and current social media trends.
• Basic photo/video editing or graphic design experience is a plus.
• Creative eye and ability to recognize content opportunities as they happen.
• Strong organization, time-management, and follow-through.
• Ability to balance operational responsibilities with assigned marketing projects and deadlines.
• Self-starter who can take direction and then independently execute assigned tasks.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with the General Manager, Owner, other supervisors, and hourly team members.
• Must meet applicable local and state requirements regarding food handling and/or liquor service.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.

The Ideal Candidate

You don't need to be a professional photographer or marketing expert. We're looking for someone who understands what makes great social content, has a creative eye, and isn't afraid to jump in and capture what's happening around them.

The right person can lead a busy shift, connect with guests and employees, recognize a great content opportunity, and turn it into something worth sharing. You'll receive direction and priorities from the General Manager and Owner, but we're looking for someone who can take those ideas and run with them.
