Organization: 317 Main Community Music Center
Position Title: Operations Assistant
Department: Operations
Reports To: Director of Operations
Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 1:00pm–6:00pm (20 hours/week), with potential for additional weekend hours as needed for events and programs
Compensation: Salary Band 1 | $37,142.86–$50,252.10 per year FTE ($17.86–$24.16/hour)

About The Position
Serves as the primary welcoming presence at the main entrance of campus, balancing public-facing community engagement with essential administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality student and community experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Stationed at the front desk at the main entrance of campus
- Welcomes community members and students, answers questions about programs, and directs students to their respective studios
- Assists teaching artists with scheduling conflicts, student communication, and changes to their availability in Opus1.io
- Responds to the registration inbox, answers the registration phone extension, and responds to voicemail inquiries in a timely manner
- Assists the Director of Operations with facility-related tasks such as communication about facility rentals, ordering supplies, and studio and equipment needs
- Regularly maintains all aspects of the Opus1.io registration system, including:
- Developing comprehensive knowledge of the system to manage, troubleshoot, and optimize daily operations
- Processing registrations, invoices, and payments
- Assisting students with their accounts and optimizing backend system settings to ensure the client-facing self-booking tool functions correctly
- Working with the Director of Operations to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Other duties as assigned
