Open Application: Join our Team! (Volunteer to Hire) is a flexible, in-person volunteer opportunity designed for aspiring leaders who want experience across multiple functions. Expect to dedicate 3–5 hours per week, with occasional in-person meetings in Houston or Richmond, TX. No prior experience is required—just initiative, reliability, and a willingness to learn by doing. This role is ideal for students who want to build a diverse portfolio and demonstrate impact across project management, social media and marketing, business development, and human resources.
What You’ll Do

Help plan and manage small-to-mid-scale projects, coordinating timelines, tasks, and team communication.

Support social media and marketing efforts, including content planning, basic graphic coordination, and engagement tracking.

Assist with business development activities such as market research, outreach preparation, and relationship-building with potential partners.

Participate in human resources tasks as needed (onboarding support, policy coordination, and volunteer logistics).

Attend occasional in-person meetings in Houston or Richmond, TX to collaborate with the team and align on priorities.

Maintain organized documentation and simple trackers to monitor progress and outcomes.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

Demonstrated ability to manage at least one project or campaign end-to-end with guidance.

Consistent contribution to marketing efforts, including social posts and engagement activities.

Clear, organized records of tasks, timelines, and results that the team can act on.

Qualifications

Active student (college or high school) seeking real-world experience and resume-building opportunities.

No prior experience required. Enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn are essential.
