Job Description
The Engineering Intern supports engineering teams in one of our US offices on project-related tasks while gaining hands-on experience in a professional consulting environment. This role provides an opportunity to apply academic knowledge, develop technical skills, and learn from experienced engineers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with engineering design, analysis, and project-related tasks under the guidance of experienced engineers
- Use engineering software, tools, and company resources to support project deliverables
- Support research, calculations, data collection, and project documentation efforts
- Apply critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to assigned work
- Demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn new concepts and technologies
- Participate in training, professional development, and mentorship opportunities
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding assignments and project progress
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and departments to support project goals
- Complete assigned tasks within established timelines while maintaining organized project records
- Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to supporting team deadlines and objectives
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Revit software is a plus
