On-Site Commissary - Part Time

TurnKey Corrections is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Part-Time Commissary & Facility Support Associate to support daily operations within Jackson County Detention Center in Kansas City, Missouri. This position is responsible for assisting with commissary distribution and warehouse activities, customer service, and basic equipment troubleshooting. Storage is provided on-site, and products are delivered directly to the facility.

The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and capable of working independently or collaboratively with a small team. A comprehensive background check is required for employment

Requirements

Schedule:

• Part Time, $18.00 - $19.00per hour
• 3 Times a week Flexible Schedule

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Distribute commissary products to detainees in accordance with company and facility procedures.
• Respond to and resolve detainee inquiries and issues related to commissary operations.
• Receive and organize deliveries.
• Perform general warehouse duties, including order preparation.
• Complete basic computer-based tasks and data entry as required.
• Troubleshoot and assist with the maintenance of on-site equipment, including: 

      Computers

      Network Hub devices

      Kiosks

      Vending Equipment

• Navigate and work across multiple software platforms and company systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred

• One year of warehouse, inventory, or related experience.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
