On-call Task & Event Helper

ISAIAH is looking for a dependable, flexible contractor to help with a wide range of office and event-related tasks for our organization. This is an on-call, as-needed role that’s a good fit for someone who likes hands-on work, has a good rapport with others, and has a vehicle that can haul larger items.

Office tasks

• Organizing and maintaining office and even supplies, materials and equipment
• Moving office and event supplies and equipment to and from storage 
• Keeping storage areas organized, accessible and clearly arranged
• Assisting with light office moves, furniture arrangement, and workspace setup

Event Setup & tear down

• Loading and unloading supplies
• Helping with event setup and breakdown
• Moving and organizing equipment at event sites

Event help:

• Helping check people in at the event
• Handing out materials
• Running a mic, etc.

What we’re looking for

• Someone with a reliable vehicle that can fit larger items, such as a SUV, crossover, van, or truck.
• Ability to safely and confidently lift/move items up to 45lbs
• Reliable communication and punctuality
• Comfortable working independently and taking direction

Pay & logistics

• $45/hour
• 2-hour minimum pay for any assignment
• This is contractor/on-demand work and not a regular scheduled position
• You would use your own vehicle
