On-Call Banquet Server at Manor Vail Lodge ($12.14/hr+grats)

Location Description: Manor Vail Lodge is one of Vail's original and iconic properties. With studio, one, two and three-bedroom condominiums plus luxury penthouses, Manor Vail Lodge is a full-service condominium property that features all the amenities of a full-service hotel, including two outdoor heated swimming pools, four hot tubs, spa, fitness center, The Fitz Bar and Ridge + River restaurant. Located steps from Vail Village, Golden Peak ski area, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, and the Ford Amphitheater, Manor Vail Lodge is the complete package for Vail lodging.  Manor Vail Lodge is managed by Mountain Mastery Management Inc.

Overview:  The Banquet Server serves meals to patrons in food and beverage establishments.  They also help set up, replenish items, and tear down events.

Able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.  

Earn $12.14/hr plus gratuities.  Looking to fill this role by August 21, 2026 or earlier.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

Set up and Break down of Banquet Rooms to prepare for functions and daily breakfast service.

Opening and Closing duties of breakfast room as assigned by supervisor.

Serves patrons from chafing dish at table.

Serves patrons pre-plated meals at table.

May act as a bartender.

Observes guests to respond to any additional requests.

Brews coffee and performs other services as determined by supervisor.

Clears and resets tables as necessary.

May operate beverage machinery.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.   Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. 

Reasoning Ability: 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. 

Computer Skills: 

No Computer skills needed.  

Certificates and Licenses: 

Able to obtain a TIPs or local Responsible alcohol awareness certificate
