Offline Media Buyer

About the role

We're looking for an Offline Media Buyer (Audio) to run our podcast and streaming radio buying day-to-day and help sharpen how we think about audio as a channel. Quo is growing fast, and audio is a core part of that growth. We've backed it with real investment: dedicated budget, measurement, and a team built to scale it. This role will help define the next chapter of the channel.
You'll be in the platforms and on calls with reps daily, not just reviewing recaps after the fact. You'll manage flights end-to-end, surface the show-level insights that make our targeting and creative sharper, and stay close enough to pacing that you're catching and fixing issues before they ever show up in a weekly report. You'll negotiate rates and placements directly with networks and platforms, bring final terms to your manager for sign-off, and help grow our partner roster by sourcing new shows and building rep relationships at industry events and upfronts.
You'll join our Paid Growth team and report directly to our Senior Offline Marketing Manager, who owns overall audio and offline media strategy. If you're looking for a pure strategy seat, this probably isn't the right fit. If you love being hands-on with buys, deep in performance data, and building real relationships with the networks and reps you work with, we'd love to meet you.

Some of the things you’ll do:

• Own execution of our podcast and streaming radio buys, from trafficking IOs, managing flight dates and creative rotation, with accountability to on-time, accurate delivery and efficiency targets
• Go beyond top-line reporting: deliver detailed show-level and network-level performance insights that explain what's working, what's not, and why
• Monitor pacing and run weekly QA across active campaigns, catching discrepancies, tracking gaps, and delivery issues before they show up in a report, and proactively recommend fixes like budget shifts, show swaps, or creative refreshes
• Negotiate rates, placements, and added-value/make-goods directly with networks and platforms
• Source and evaluate new podcast and streaming radio partners to expand our roster, including attending industry events and upfronts to build direct rep relationships
• Partner with attribution and measurement platforms (ie Podscribe) to track performance and flag anomalies quickly
• Maintain campaign trackers, media calendars, reporting dashboards, and IO documentation
• Support creative trafficking, ensuring ad copy and spots meet brand and compliance guidelines before they go live

About you

• 2-4 years of experience in media buying, ideally in podcast, radio, or other audio channels
• Comfortable working inside attribution and reporting tools, and translating data into action
• Confident negotiating directly with networks and platforms — you're stepping into relationships an agency used to hold
• Agency-side experience (media buying/planning) is a plus — you understand how networks and platforms operate from both sides of the table
• Highly organized and detail-oriented — you catch pacing issues and creative errors before they become problems
• Thrives in a fast-moving startup environment and is comfortable with ambiguity
• Bonus: Experience with Podscribe, AdsWizz, or similar podcast/audio ad tech

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this position is as follow, plus equity and benefits:

• SF Bay Area, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, Boston, New York, and Washington, DC Metro: $129,000 - $152,000 USD
• All other US Locations: $117,000 - $137,000 USD
• Canada: $118,000 - $139,000 CAD

The ranges displayed reflect the target for new hire salaries, and within each range, individual pay is determined by your skills and experience, as well as relevant education. Your recruiter can share more and answer questions about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
