Office Assistant

The University of New
Mexico's Chemistry & Chemical Biology Department is seeking a
self-motivated, friendly, reliable, & task
oriented individual to assist the department's administrative and financial
staff. The successful candidate will provide support under general supervision
by the Department Administrator and/or Coord. Academics.

Duties include (but not limited to):

• Provide coverage for front office
• Answer multi-line telephone
• Copy tests, syllabi, and other documents
• Act as office liaison between students,campus departments and the general public when covering the front office
• Maintain various databases
• Assist with office-filing systems
• Provide direct assistance to financial team
• Run campus errands
• Process inbound/outbound packages
• Distribute department's campus mail
• Assist with special projects, and other duties as assigned

Student must have work study and be
available mornings/early afternoons (seeking M-F 9am-1pm). Office is open Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, no evening or weekend hours available.

Reliability is a must!
Must be prompt and have the availability to work scheduled hours.
