Job Responsibilities:
Ability to follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment
Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
Housekeeping
OD / Thread Grinder top skills & proficiencies:
Knowledge of Grinding
Ability to Read Blueprints, Schematics and Manuals
Analytical Skills using micrometers, calipers, gages
Work from blueprints to identify component/manufacturing specifications
Set-up and operate manual and/or CNC grinding
Select Proper feeds and speeds
Ability to check parts to specifications using gauges and related measuring devices
Ability to inspect parts and make adjustments according to blueprint specifications
Perform basic troubleshooting and make appropriate adjustments
Rotate between various department work centers as required
QualificationsJob Qualifications:
One (1) year experience in manufacturing
Working knowledge of equipment and tools
Operate material handling equipment
Able to read, write, and count in English
Ability to lift 40lbs
