Experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Foundations Pediatric Therapy is seeking an experienced, play-based occupational therapist to provide therapy to children and help shape the future of a growing program from the ground up. The position is part-time/PRN with the potential to grow into full-time, located at Kids First Sports Center, the most fun place to learn and grow.

Kids First Sports Center offers over 109,000 square feet of youth sport facilities, including gymnastics, preschool gymnastics, swim, ninja, dance, and cheer programs, all under one roof. You will have the opportunity to conduct therapy in a vibrant, active, community-based environment surrounded by other youth sport professionals and programming, rather than a traditional clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group-based occupational therapy services to children from birth through age 12.
• Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for children seeking services.
• Consult with families and provide support for carryover of skills.
• Collaborate with other professionals to support families served.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation of services.
• Schedule clients.
• Communicate and work effectively with other departments within the facility to support the program.
• Serve as a clinical resource and partner with department leadership to help create and shape innovative, evidence-based programming as the department continues to grow.

Requirements:

• Occupational Therapy degree
• Current OT license in the state of Ohio

• 10+ years of experience working with children, preferably in outpatient pediatric services

• Strong desire to collaborate with other professionals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
