Your Impact
Premier Therapy is hiring a Part Time OT in Lakewood, OH to help residents in skilled nursing settings rebuild independence and daily function. You’ll deliver high-quality, resident-centered occupational therapy that supports safe, meaningful progress.
Key responsibilities include evaluating residents, creating and updating individualized treatment plans, providing direct therapy interventions, documenting care accurately, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to meet goals.
Required qualifications/skills:
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Ohio (or eligibility)
- Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric rehab preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
- Commitment to ethical, compassionate care

A Typical Shift
Your day as a Part Time OT in Lakewood, OH starts by reviewing the schedule and any overnight updates, then moving between treatment spaces and resident rooms with a steady, supportive pace. You’ll spend time coaching residents through everyday tasks, adjusting approaches based on how they’re feeling that day, and checking in with nursing and therapy teammates to stay aligned. Between sessions, you’ll complete notes, confirm upcoming visits, and make sure the plan for each resident remains clear and consistent. You wrap up by organizing priorities for the next shift so care stays smooth and continuous.

Premier Therapy has been a recognized leader in the health care setting for physical, occupational, and speech therapy services in skilled and acute rehabilitative settings in the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York; setting the standards for skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
With Premier's success in these settings and high physician demand for additional therapy services at stand alone clinics, Premier Therapy has branched into outpatient care with Atlas Rehab & Wellness Centers.
Atlas Rehab & Wellness is staffed with licensed therapists of all disciplines and are aided with the latest technology of equipment, including a heated therapy pool for aquatic therapy at the Liberty facility.
