Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) is a professional caregiver who is accountable for performing safe and effective occupational therapy regarding inpatient behavioral health services. The OTR/L selects, administers, and develops all occupational therapy programs within the medical center for all patients within the guidelines of the physicians’ orders. Oversee coordination of the Master treatment plan and provides group therapy. The OTR/L exemplifies the IRMC mission, vision and values, and acts in accordance with IRMC policies and procedures to ensure that quality care is provided

Job Specification

• Minimum Education Required: MS in Occupational Therapy.
• Minimum Experience Required: Psychiatric experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification Required: Eligible or holds current licensure in the state of PA as an OT. Valid PA driver’s license with access to a vehicle and a good driving record.   Must be BLS certified required (or obtain within one month of hire).
