Job Type: Contract
The Alliance for Infants and Toddlers is seeking Occupational Therapists to provide multidisciplinary evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility for early intervention and/or make recommendations for services in Allegheny County. This is a great opportunity to help children and families get a right start in the first few years of their lives, a time that is so important to a child’s development.
* You will have the opportunity to assess children ages birth to 3.
* Your role will be to work collaboratively with parents and other caregivers to assess children and develop plans. The end goal will be to help families foster the growth and developmental potential for each child.
*You participate as a team member with service coordinators and other therapists.
* The work is done in home and community-based settings.
* By contracting, there is flexibility in scheduling. You tell us when you want to work.
* Day and evening work available.
Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy and a current state license.

The Alliance For Infants and Toddlers, Inc. was established in 1988 by a Federal grant to assist families of low birth weight infants. In 1996, The Alliance was chosen by Allegheny County as the Early Intervention Service Coordination Agency for families of children, ages birth to three years, who have developmental concerns.
In April of 2022, The Alliance was elected as the Early Intervention Service Coordination Agency to serve children residing throughout Beaver County.
Early Intervention is a variety of supports and services designed to build and enhance the natural learning that occurs in the early years. Supports and services are provided in the home, childcare site and other community settings identified by the family. Any child, age birth to three years, living in Allegheny County or Beaver County is eligible for a developmental evaluation through Early Intervention.
