How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Evaluating patient deficits across physical and cognitive domains to design customized plans of care and frequency of treatment.

• Implementing therapeutic interventions using appropriate modalities while monitoring progress and adjusting the plan as needed.

• Instructing patients and caregivers on managing deficits and coordinate discharge planning, including the use of adaptive equipment.

• Maintaining thorough clinical documentation and oversee the work of therapy assistants and technicians to ensure regulatory standards are met.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Occupational Therapy prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
