REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Routine vaginal deliveries, low forceps deliveries
• Decision-making for Cesarean sections
• Complicated deliveries (breech, multiple births, abruptions)
• VBACs
• Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• GYN call coverage

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible – American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Licenses: Active KY License or Universal License (IMLC)
• DEA: Active DEA Certification
• Certifications: BLS
• Other Qualifications: Must be available for coverage Nov 25-29; please note if provider has worked previously at BSMH

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide on-call coverage for OB/GYN emergencies
• Perform routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps deliveries
• Make decisions and perform Cesarean sections as needed
• Manage complicated deliveries including breech, multiple births, and abruptions
• Provide GYN call coverage including repair of lacerations
