We’re looking for compassionate, dependable Resident Care Aides (RCA)/ Nursing Assistant to support residents in both our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. About the Role
As a Resident Care Aide (RCA)/ Nursing Assistant, you’ll provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities while supporting residents’ physical comfort, emotional well-being, and dignity. You’ll work alongside nurses and care team members to deliver high-quality care guided by our Hillside values. This role is ideal for caregivers who want to build genuine relationships and be part of a supportive, team-focused environment.
What You’ll Do
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Support residents during meals and with hydration
- Provide incontinence care with professionalism and respect
- Safely transfer residents using mechanical lifts and mobility equipment (training provided)
- Monitor residents’ condition and report changes to the nurse on duty
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with residents, families, and team members
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with seniors or in a caregiving role (senior living or memory care preferred)
- Ability to lift, move, and assist residents safely, including use of mechanical lifts
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Comfort providing personal care, including incontinence care
- Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented approach
Preferred Qualifications
- CNA certification
- Caregiving experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Nursing Home
- College Courses related to Geriatrics
- Nursing, Medical college student
Schedule Options
Assisted Living ~ 8hr shifts with consistent set weekly scheduling available
- Afternoon/Evening Shifts available (2pm-10pm)
- NOW HIRING (1) FULL & (1) PART TIME POSITIONS
- Day Shifts not available (6am-pm) **fully staffed**
- Midnight Shifts not available (10pm-6am) **fully staffed**
Memory Care ~ 12hr shifts with consistent set weekly scheduling available
- 6am-6pm available
- NOW HIRING (1) FULL and (1) PART TIME POSITIONS
- 6pm-6am available **fully staffed**
