Long-Term Care Facility Based (20 Hours/Week)

We're looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a designated long-term care facility. This part-time (20 hours/week) position offers weekday morning or midday weekday hours with scheduling flexibility needed—perfect for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships while providing exceptional patient care.
What You'll Do:
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for hospice patients.
- Partner with long-term care facility staff to deliver outstanding, coordinated care.
- Support patients, families, and staff with empathy, professionalism, and excellent customer service.
- Serve as a trusted Trellis ambassador while helping enhance the quality of life for those we serve.
What We're Looking For:
- Current North Carolina CNA listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
- At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting (2 years of healthcare experience preferred).
- A caring, dependable professional with strong communication skills and a passion for serving others.

Both patients and family receive support and care from a specially trained, dedicated team of clinical staff and generous volunteers. In all we do, dignity, comfort and peace-of-mind matter most. While our care addresses the pertinent medical needs, it also enhances the emotional, spiritual and social well-being. Although most patients receive care in their homes, services are provided to nursing home residents, assisted living communities, group and rest homes, and at the family-oriented Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Counseling and bereavement services are also available to patients and families. Of course, at no cost to them.
