Nurse Tech 2 NW7 Neuro/Stroke PRN ** Nursing Student in the last year of Nursing School**

Job Summary:
A Nurse Tech 2 is a non-licensed health care provider, responsible for assisting in the direct and indirect care of patients under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse. The NT-2 learns the role of the RN by assisting and observing the RN. The NT-2 is an integral part of the Nursing care team and assists with hourly rounding, responding to patient and family requests and meeting the needs of customers to promote a positive patient experience.

Will consider a nursing student (RN or LPN) within 6 months of graduating from an accredited nursing program.

The employee must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served on the NW7 Cerebrovascular/Diab unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status.
