NURSE PRACTITIONER PT - URGENT CARE CENTER

Job Details: Job Location: Cullman Regional Urgent Care - Cullman, AL, Position Type: PRN - .3, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Nurse,  Job Summary:

Coordinate plan of care, discharge, and specialty referrals as appropriate to meet the age specific needs of the patient.
Plan and coordinate healthcare education for patients, patients' family, and other health care providers as needed.
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assessments.
Interpret, analyze, and evaluate patient’s medical record and social data.
Perform and/or assist the physician with procedures per collaborative agreement.
Coordinate and participate in performance improvement activities. 

Qualifications: Education:
Bachelor's degree required with preference for master’s degree in related field.
Current or eligible to be certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.                 

Experience:
Required 5-7 years of progressive healthcare management experience, preferably in a medical practice or urgent care setting.
