Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Urgent Care

Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a civilian Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the  Urgent Care team at the A.T. Augusta Ambulatory Care Center -Fairfax, in Fairfax Virginia.

Provide high quality care to active duty service members, qualifying veterans, and their families while working alongside an exceptional healthcare team.

• Competitive Compensation, with an estimated starting income of $125,000/annual to $132,000/annual.

Scheduling

• Urgent Care hours are of 7am to 8pm Monday through Friday & 8am to 2pm on Saturday.  

Aspects of the UCC

• 2-3  patients per hour
• Extension of the ED at Ft. Belvoir
• If a patient is presented that exceeds the scope that can be seen in the clinic, patient is transferred to the nearest ED
• BLS only facility-No crash carts
• Will not typically see overflow from our primary clinics
• Support staff (Nursing & MA)
• Stable culture with Senior Physician & Nursing leadership

Job Requirements:

• All active State licenses accepted
• At least 2 years of experience working in Urgent Care / ER
• Active BLS certifications
• Active DEA registration
