Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Per Diem - La Jolla

This is a casual (per diem) position with varied 8-hour shifts. The role includes weekday and weekend call responsibilities. This position is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

What you'll do: 

• Responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. 

• Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
• CNMT (CA Certified Nuclear Med Tech)
• RT-VEN
• Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology
• Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years’ experience
