Shorty’s is a high-energy, laid-back restaurant and entertainment destination combining an old-school vibe with a modern social experience.

From darts, shuffleboard, giant Connect Four, foosball, and pinball to our vintage-style photo booth, rotating beer selections, house-made craft cocktails, and epic 1970s basement-inspired karaoke room, Shorty’s is all about great food, great drinks, good times, and memorable guest experiences.

We’re currently looking for energetic, dependable, hospitality-driven Hosts and Bussers to join our team at our Waterfront location in West Homestead, PA.

HOSTS

Our Hosts are the first and last impression of the Shorty’s experience. We’re looking for outgoing, friendly, organized individuals who genuinely enjoy taking care of people.

Responsibilities Include:

• Warmly greeting and welcoming every guest
• Managing the host stand, wait list, and table rotation
• Seating guests efficiently
• Communicating accurate wait times
• Assisting with reservations and large parties
• Answering phones and guest questions
• Communicating with servers, bartenders, bussers, and managers
• Maintaining a clean and organized entrance and host area
• Remaining calm and professional during high-volume periods
• Supporting the team wherever needed

BUSSERS

Our Bussers are a critical part of keeping Shorty’s running smoothly. We’re looking for hardworking, energetic team players who move with purpose and aren't afraid to jump in wherever they're needed.

Responsibilities Include:

• Quickly clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables
• Assisting servers and bartenders throughout service
• Maintaining clean dining and guest areas
• Refilling water and assisting guests when appropriate
• Removing dishes, glassware, and trash
• Keeping service stations clean, organized, and stocked
• Assisting with running food when needed
• Completing opening and closing side work
• Moving with urgency during high-volume periods
• Following sanitation and safety standards

• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
• Previous hospitality experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right people!
